In a joint venture with Cardiff Property Plc, we purchased the former Gate House in Brookwood Cemetery, which comprised 12,000 sq ft (1,114 sq m) of poor quality buildings, let to a computer company.
The property lies in the Green Belt and is a short walk from Brookwood main line BR station.

As joint venture partners, we secured:

• Planning consent for 25,000 sq ft (2,323 sq m) of offices
• By the use of management contracting, significant savings in the cost of construction
• A letting of the whole at practical completion to Retail Decisions plc
• A sale of the resultant investment to Royal and Sun Alliance for long term retention in its property portfolio
